Nadia and Luke’s Grimsby wedding took place at The Oaklands Hall Hotel on a cold, crisp and sunny winters day in January. Nadia is one of seven children and was surrounded by her family on the morning of the wedding. The beautiful chaos of everyone getting ready didn’t phase Nadia one bit, partly due to the fact she was working on the morning (Nadia is the Travelling make-up artist) But coming from a close family myself, it was lovely to see how much love there was in that house.
One of my favourite shots from this wedding is of the cake from the morning prep. Nadia’s sister made the cake and believe it or not, its not her day job!!! I just loved how it was perched on the kitchen table amongst everyone having breakfast.
Nadia and Luke had a very intimate ceremony with close family and friends and created a lot of the wedding details together. I love it when couples put a lot of themselves into the decor, it makes for a much more personal wedding.
