Abigail and Alex got married over in Key West (I know…how amazing!) They held their Laceby Manor wedding reception a few days after returning from Florida to celebrate with family and friends back in the UK.
The day of the reception had been very overcast and was even cloudy when I arrived. Alex and Abigail definitely brought the Florida sunshine with them and we were treat to the most amazing sunset. After working on some group shots, I took the couple away for a few minutes making the most of the gorgeous golden tones that spread through the trees.
It was then time to head back inside for the first dance and let the partying begin. Abigail had mentioned they were not able to use sparklers in Key West and she had really wanted some photographs with some. Luckily I carry a packet with me to every wedding so I managed to get a few (drunken) guests out later on for some quick shots with them.
I was just about to leave when I heard all the girls screaming on the dance floor to the start of Kate Bush’s Wuthering heights so I headed back inside to see the girls surrounding Abigail and lifting her dress up. It was hard to tear myself away from this reception. I was told it got pretty messy after I left. I do love a good party.
