Hannah and Zachary’s plans for a village wedding in South Kelsey, Lincolnshire were very typically English. Zac is from California, where he and Hannah now both live, so they decided to go for a church wedding and garden party afterwards at Hannah’s family home. St Mary’s Church is only a few minutes from Hannah’s parents so it was all very personal and family orientated. This made for some lovely Lincolnshire wedding photography.
Hannah’s family home was THE perfect place to get ready. The lighting was incredible, it really was a photographers dream. After I captured some details with Hannah, I nipped over to see Zac and the boys as they were getting ready close by. I then had time to go back to bridal prep for that last hour before the ceremony and got to witness a lovely moment between Hannah and her dad.
It was only a short walk to the Church which was decorated with the most beautiful flowers by Jo from The Wedding and Flower Boutique. After the service all the guests then headed back to the family home for the reception and partied the night away in a huge Marquee. After a forecast of rain for most of the day we were blessed with the most beautiful sunset and it didn’t rain a drop, so a typically english wedding without the typical english weather you might say!
